Croft are running a series of "new" trackdays.  With a maximum of 10 cars on track at any one time, a limit of 88dBA and £158 for the full day:-

Fecking Big Blat 2010.

Peter and I are pleased to announce the ne7ers Fecking Big Blat 2010. Building on the success of FBB09, we are going bigger, longer, harder 4 days, 1026miles, far far north of Scotland. Im excited :-)

The philosophy is the same as last year it’s Blatting and it’s Big :-))))))))))

Practical information: Start Newcastle Friday 21st May, Finish Newcastle Monday 24th May. Cost #200 quid (approx, may change a little, hotel Prices are fixed, just dependant upon support costs).

Day 1

Leave Newcastle about 9 am. A fairly boring run up through the borders And around Edinburgh to get us in Scottieland and the good bits. Just North of Edninburgh we cut around across country aiming for Aviemore as our destination for the night. Its a long day, but the early roads are fast and the later roads are superb, going over Glenshee and the Lecht. Day 2

should be cracking and takes us right upto the very north of Scotland. The roads are legendary, reputed to be devoid of traffic and billiard smooth due to the lovely people of the EU.  We head North from Aviemore, right up until we can get no further north.  We then hug the coast into Ullapool where we are staying here http://www.royalhotel-ullapool.com/. 233miles http://www.ne7ers.co.uk/fbb10/day2.jpg

Day 3

Leave Hotel.  Blat!  Straight out of the hotel onto cracking roads which wont let up all day.  This day involves some of my all time favourite Scottish roads.  And we end up in a very nice hotel in Pitlochry to boot :-) http://www.athollpalace.com/.  Of course for the ardcore you can add an extra 40 miles to that and go via applecorss.  Tempting. 258miles http://www.ne7ers.co.uk/fbb10/day3.jpg

Day 4

Homeward bound.  But in a good way :-)  We blat our way out of pitlochry heading south.  Duck onto the boring bit round Edinburgh and then back to fun fun as we finish with a top classic bit of North East blatting as we come down through the borders via Kielder. 231 miles. http://www.ne7ers.co.uk/fbb10/day4.jpg

ne7ers Xmas beer and curry night 2009.

As dates are getting booked up I thought it wise to think about this year's ne7ers Xmas beer and curry night.

So how about Friday 11th December.  Similar format to last year, meet in Witherspoons about 7, earlier if you fancy, then curry at the Ahad for 8pm and onto some other salubrious boozer afterwards.

Can I have a hands-up, ASAP (on list), from those who want to go to the Ahad as I will need to book.

For those with a cast iron constitution I also propose, weather permitting we go for an end of year blat on the Saturday (12th)
