The ne7ers are enthusiasts for all things inspired by Colin Chapman’s Lotus 7. We are based (mostly) in the North East, from Yorkshire up into the Border country.

We are not a “club” more an informal meeting of like minded fools. There is no membership charge or pre-requisite to joining in (although a passing knowledge of what a se7en is helps – as does the ability to laugh at words like “flange”.)

As a group we organise blats out into various parts of the North East (and sometimes further afield). We organise a few trackdays each year for the se7ens only and we meet once a month for beer and blether.

All of this is organised through the ne7ers email distribution list, where we also talk about our cars, what is broken, what is fixed and what we want to improve – we also sometimes talk about other things as the whim takes us.

We meet on the last Wednesday of every month, come rain or shine at the Church Mouse. The pub is on the A167 between Chester le Street and Durham (Church Mouse directions). We are normally there from 7:30 onwards. Pop along and say hello :)

We are pleased to announce the ne7ers Fecking Big Blat 2011. Building on the success of FBB09 and FBB10, we are going bigger, longer, harder, 4 days, 1026miles, far far north of Scotland.  I'm excited :-)
